Apart from the severe heat and drought they were all experiencing a sand storm has swept the town. Dr. Hany and the rest of the Islamic Relief staff decided to pray Salat-ul-isquaa (Rain prayer) for the local area. At the end of this video we are lucky enough to have caught on camera the instant response by Almighty AllahIslamic Relief has been working in Africa since 1983 and has experienced many droughts since that time. Dr. Hany Al-Banna, the founder of Islamic Relief recently travelled to Mali and Niger during their recent drought to assist them with drilling machines to create wells for the local populations. The visible prosperity of Africa\'s flourishing cities contrasts sharply with the chronic poverty, drought, HIV crisis, climate change and wars that plague the continent.
